Product Overview

This lightweight hybrid composite panel combines pressureless sintered silicon carbide (SiC) ceramic strike face tiles with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) backing. This design achieves NIJ Level III stand-alone protection at an areal density below 26 kg/m²—35-40% lighter than comparable all-alumina panels.

The SiC strike face provides exceptional hardness for threat disruption, while the PE backing absorbs residual kinetic energy through controlled delamination and fiber stretching.
